National Relationship-Based Care Symposium Summary
Creative Health Care Management was thrilled to host nearly 400 health care leaders representing 110 organizations from 34 states and 4 foreign countries. The event was held from July 28 - July 31, 2009 at the Turning Stone Resort in Verona, New York. Together we gained a deeper understanding of the power of leadership, trust and commitment in creating caring and healing organizations. The focal point was and continues to be placing the patient and patient's family at the center of care delivery and treating them with kindness, compassion and respect. Unprecedented sharing and celebrating the innovative methods in which Relationship-Based Care is transforming health care occurred during the daily sessions and with each other over the course of the week.
