| Driving the Change
to Relationship-Based Care |
The challenges of attracting and retaining
staff, providing compassionate, high quality, effective and
safe care in environments of limited and shrinking resources
can feel insurmountable. Relationship-Based Care (RBC) highlights
the most direct routes to achieve world class care and service
to patients and families in your organization.
Organizations who have implemented RBC see an
increase in patient satisfaction and loyalty,
an increase in staff and physician satisfaction
and a more resource conscious and efficient
work environment.

| Driving the Change to Relationship-Based Care |
|
We celebrate your belief in Relationship-Based
Care (RBC) and the path it provides to achieving world
class care and service to patients and families in your organization. Sharing the Relationship-Based Care (RBC) concept with peers
and employees, helping managers understand its benefits, and
making it a success in your organization is a true challenge.
Implementing what matters most in a complex environment requires
persistence and strategic knowledge and skills. We know these
skills and knowledge can be taught, learned, and applied to
any organizational environment.
While the assigned Project Leader guides the way, the executive team and other key leaders are crucial to a successful RBC implementation. Hospitals with successful RBC implementations have had board members, medical staff and the CEO attend Practicums. One CEO said that the RBC Practicum is the "Best investment I've ever made, and attending the Practicum made me realize how valuable it is for my patients and staff."
To help with the challenges you face
in implementing the RBC program, Creative Health Care Management
is introducing a new program: Relationship-Based Care Leader Practicum.

| An Intensive Training Course for RBC Project Leaders |
This practical five day course
provides RBC Project Leaders with the clarity and competence
essential for assembling a collaborative team of change leaders.
The program blends a variety of experiential methodologies
to develop competencies, integrate learning relative to RBC,
and design customized strategies and outcomes in your individual
organizations. The experiential methodologies such as dynamic
dialogue, circle and reflection, appreciative inquiry, and
action learning will ensure that participants are actively
involved in the experience and apply their learning through
presentations and group discussions.
Important note:
We recommend a minimum of two people attend this seminar
with the RBC Project Leader. The participant team would
ideally include an executive nurse leader, an operational
leader, a staff nurse leader or any other influential leader
from any position within the organization who will be a
champion for RBC. This participant team will provide leadership
for designing , implementing, sustaining and evolving the
RBC program within their organization. While the assigned
Project Leader guides the way, the executive team and other
key leaders are crucial to a successful implementation.
Whether you're a new or experienced
RBC Project Leader, this program will help give you the direction
you need to make RBC succeed at your organization. Join us
in taking Relationship-Based Care to another level. Enjoy
learning and sharing ideas and strategies with other Relationship-Based
Care participant teams throughout the country.
