Leading An Empowered Organization (LEO) —
Attendance Options

There are several ways to take part in LEO training.

CHCM Hosted Classes

At least two times a year, Creative Health Care Management holds a three-day LEO class which is open to anyone. This option is perfect for organizations wanting to train new employees or new managers or for executives wanting to experience the program first hand.

We are partnering with Visioning HealthCare to offer LEO programs in Florida. Please visit their web site for registration and more information about those programs.

In-house Classes
Organizations wishing to train management and leadership teams or other large groups can bring LEO into their own facility. A CHCM facilitator adapts the standard three-day agenda to fit the specific needs of the organization.

Organizations save money on registrations fees, travel, food and lodging. Employees spend less time away from the job. Participants learn in their own work environment and with co-workers.

To schedule an in-house LEO, please call 952.854.9015 or 800.728.7766.

Shot in the Arm

This one day follow-up session provides an opportunity for past LEO participants to deepen their understanding of the key LEO concepts, discuss challenges experienced in their application of those concepts and refocus their energies on strategies for the future.

This LEO refresher is recommended for anyone who has attended the LEO program in the past two years. Organizations can bring A Shot in the Arm in-house or attend one of the CHCM hosted refreshers.

Additional Options
Overview: 1 Day
Designed for vice presidents, directors, coordinators, clinical specialists and representatives from staff development, this program follows the three-day LEO course. An overview of key concepts emphasizes ways in which participants can take an active role in the empowerment process. Instrumental in promoting a shared vision, this overview helps win buy-in from key personnel, and sets the framework for effective team building.

Senior Administration Consulting and Planning: 1 Day
This final day of consultation and planning covers the specific needs of those to whom the leaders report and results in a follow-up plan augmenting the LEO training. Plans for follow-up include expected behavior changes, benchmarks to measure progress and innovative approaches. A written report assists administrators in tracking progress and preparing for follow-up visits.

Follow-up Visits: 1 Day
Four to six months after the leadership team has completed the LEO program, a follow-up visit from the LEO faculty consultant focuses on issues arising subsequent to the LEO program and helps further team building efforts.

Licensing
Leading An Empowered Organization can be licensed to individuals as well as organizations. Organizations that license LEO enjoy flexibility and save money. Click here for more information.
