Areas of Expertise
Donna excels at helping health care organizations create
valuable competency and staff development programs for all
departments. She brings an energetic and refreshing approach
to education, competency and staff development. As an author
and lecturer, Donna's expertise includes creative educational
strategies, self-directed learning, competency assessment,
creative approaches to mandatory training, creating a healthy
work environment and implementing shared governance.
Donna earned her master's degree from the University of Minnesota.
Donna has served as President of the National
Nursing Staff Development Organization and is a recipient
of that organization's Promoting Excellence in Consultation
award.
