Areas of Expertise
Alice has worked with interdisciplinary teams at acute care facilities in a variety of leadership roles. Developing staff and the systems that support patient care are among her greatest professional talents. For more than thirty years, she has developed care delivery systems that span the care continuum to improve processes and patient care outcomes. She has also helped with the documentation for Magnet certification at a hospital in the Mayo Health System as part of her extensive background in program development and operations.
Nursing is her passion, and she believes that nurses touch the lives of patients and families in ways no other discipline can. Alice has published and lectured both nationally and internationally. She earned her Masters degree in Healthcare Administration from Cardinal Stritch University, and is a graduate of Montana State University and the University of Minnesota Independent Study Program in Patient Care Administration.
